Well done to Madi whom enter 3 events at the U17 Auckland Track Championships as follows

Scratch Race - Gold - She lead out with about 100m to go from the middle of the bunch and finished the race around 30m ahead of the next person. 

Sprint - Silver, Madi was the fastest qualifier by at least a second however when it come to match sprint its hard to predict whats going to happen she did fantastically well with this result and is still learning the tactics needed on the track. 

2000 Individual Pursuit - in the qualifying she was only 3 tenths of a second behind the winner they were so close, so it was a great final to watch as they were similar strengths.

Summer Series Race 3

Results and points posted - 98 riders turned up for race 3, .Well done Josh Herbert 1st, Ben Chandler and Kristy Fisher U15, Next week U15 will be back to handicap racing.

WELCOME TO HAMILTON CITY CYCLING!

The Hamilton City Cycling Club offers competitive cycling in and around the Hamilton area. We hold weekly club races throughout most of the year; as well as a number of larger annual events such as our challenging Club Champs and Open race. We also run a number of fun events for all to enjoy thru the years as well. The club runs under UCI rules and is affiliated with Bike NZ Road/Track the national body and WBOP Cycling Centre. The club also offers coaching and advice for all new members.

With a membership of over 200 we always welcome new cyclists to enjoy the fun and thrill of cycle racing. Our members range from new young riders 11 years and above just starting out in the sport, junior riders U15, U17 and U19, to strong, tough and fast seniors to grizzled and cunning old vets.

Come meet and race with us and see if its for you. Enjoy the companionship of fellow riders and swap stories about your latest triumphs.
